1. Who we are

Mr Klass Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use this website (mrklass.co.uk) or contact us by phone, email or in person.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number (only if you provide it), and the message you send via our contact form.
  • Order details — shipping address, billing address, and the items you order. Payment card details are handled directly by Stripe (we never see your card number).
  • Cart contents — stored in your browser only (localStorage). It never leaves your device until you click Checkout.
  • Technical data — basic logs (IP address, browser type) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.

3. Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order — preparing, packing and shipping items, and handling returns. (Lawful basis: performance of a contract.)
  • To answer your enquiries — replying when you contact us via the form, email or phone. (Lawful basis: legitimate interests.)
  • To meet legal obligations — keeping accounting records as required by HMRC. (Lawful basis: legal obligation.)

4. Who we share it with

We only share personal data with the third parties needed to operate the shop:

  • Stripe Payments UK Ltd — payment processing. See their privacy notice.
  • Resend, Inc. — email delivery for contact-form messages and order confirmations.
  • Vercel Inc. — hosting infrastructure.
  • Royal Mail — delivery (name and shipping address only).

We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes with any third party.

5. International transfers

Some of the third parties listed above (Stripe, Resend, Vercel) may process data in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EU, transfers are protected by the relevant standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

  • Contact enquiries: up to 24 months after the last reply.
  • Order and accounting records: 7 years (HMRC requirement).
  • Server access logs: up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data (where we have no legal duty to keep it).
  • Object to or restrict our use of your data.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Cookies

This site uses essential cookies only — they are required to remember your bag between pages and to keep your checkout session secure. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
